What's your favorite vegan brunch

Today's blog post is entirely dedicated to brunch. You don't yet know where you want to enjoy your next brunch? We have listed our favorite brunch locations for you here. Now you are spoiled for choice where to go. En good! 😉

Kosmos Bistro

Especially during the currently still ongoing Corona restrictions, due to which some people had to postpone their summer vacation or move to Germany, we long for a bit of variety and travel to distant countries. We therefore recommend breakfast in the Kosmos, where you can at least travel around the world in culinary terms. Fancy an açai bowl in Rio, a ramen in Tokyo or a shakshuka in Jerusalem? In the cosmos you can get anywhere in a few minutes and feast around the world.
And do you already have wanderlust? Then let's go and off to the cosmos - where breakfast (almost) feels like traveling.

Restoran Gül

Let 1001 Nights seduce you to brunch. In the Gül you will be served selected Turkish specialties with an extra twist. For example, a Börek filled with truffles and cheese or Ramazan's dream could make you dream - a sweet and salty cheese bread with honey, double cream and pistachios. Are you hungry yet? Then off to the gül for brunch.

BANK

Sunday is for brunch!
Our Sunday tip for a cozy brunch: BANK
Good bread is part of every brunch. The bank serves fresh bread straight from the in-house bakery and not just from any bakery, but from the famous John Baker bakery. In addition to the bread delicacies, the bank offers the usual brunch suspects, such as various egg dishes, muesli, porridge, French toast or Shakshuka. Ordering is also super easy in the bank, so that no order is lost - everyone can tick their favorites on their menu and hand them in to the friendly wait staff.
Already hungry? Then let's go! Maybe you will see each other soon over a Sunday coffee in the bank!

The Artisan

The Artisan is a lively neighborhood restaurant with an excellent brunch. Sustainability, regional and organic cultivation are very important there. For example, you can enjoy the Artisan Breakfast in the cozy garden atmosphere: a delicious poached egg with hollondaise sauce, brioche, bacon, artisan sausage, lettuce, roasted cauliflower and stalk broccoli. The zucchetti blossom tempura and a homemade iced tea are also recommended.
The Artisan, Nordbrücke 4 8037 Zurich

Fork & Bottle

The Fork & Bottle
The Fork & Bottle is located in the Allmend Brunau, hidden in a secluded garden. The former inn has been converted into a trendy brunch oasis with countless alternatives. The menu is largely American-inspired - you can find classics such as pancakes, egg benedict in numerous combinations and more hearty dishes such as burritos, burgers or a croissant sandwich. If you are really hungry, we would recommend the Wilted Spinach Benedict, a Bacon & Homemade Chorizo Breakfast Burrito and Blueberry Pancakes for two. A visit under the shady chestnut trees is definitely worthwhile when the weather is nice to just let yourself drift a little.

Kaffi Dihei

The Kaffi Dihei lives up to its name, because with all the tapestry chairs, the old wooden tables and the cozy wallpaper you feel like you're in grandmother's room. And what does grandmother always have? Of course the best food! Here you can enjoy a cozy brunch with everything your heart desires. In addition to the classic breakfast or bichermuesli, the Kaffi Dihei also serves waffles, pancakes or bagels. In summer you can also enjoy your brunch in the romantic Gärtli and watch what is happening on the Quartierstrasse!

Babu’s Bakery and Coffee Shop

In what is probably the cosiest and most beautifully furnished café in Zurich, a rainy Sunday like today can be turned into a magical day. On rainy days we have to bring the sun into our living room and what better way to do that than with a long brunch with family and friends. Babu‘s is known to celebrate Sunday with brunch. If you order in advance, Babu’s Brunch serves étagères, which are richly filled with plaits, croissants, egg dishes, Bircher muesli and much more. But even the spontaneous ones don't miss out at Babu‘s and can try their hand at the extensive brunch menu. Pancakes in different variations, avocado toasts, bagels, muesli, egg dishes and even homemade hash browns definitely won't leave you hungry.
So let's go - let's enjoy this rainy Sunday and celebrate the most important meal of the day! En good!

Roots

The Roots relies on plant-based dishes. Mindful eating is their concept. The bowls, pancakes, wraps and juices are convincing across the board. We recommend the coconut berry pancakes or the brunch tacos. Fruity, fresh and healthy - tastes excellent, something that also caught the attention of the people of Zurich. For this reason there are already 6 roots branches in Zurich. Which branch have you already visited?
