JEE Extended 2018: The consultation and seat allotment process begins on June 15, 2018.
JEE Extended 2018: As the result of the JEE Extended Investigation was explained, today, June 10th, the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will start the registration for the consultation and the seat allocation for JEE Extended 2018 from June 15th. It should be noted that JEE Extended Consultation and Seat Allocation 2018 will be carried out in seven consecutive rounds. All candidates who successfully complete their training in the JEE Advanced exam can only participate in the counseling situation.
This year to have 18,138 candidates qualified in the JEE advanced exam. Pranav Goyal from Panchkula headed the JEE extended examination with 337 marks. A student Bhavan Vidyalaya, Panchkula, Pranav, was the non-medical stream topper in the Chandigarh Tricity region, scoring 97.2 percent on the CBSE Class 12 board exam. He also secured all-India Rank (AIR) 4 in the JEE Main.

Speaking to Indian Express, the topper, she said, "I want to study computer science engineering from IIT Bombay and then do the start-up companies."

JEE Extended 2018: Consultation Procedures
Registration: Applicants must register online in order to participate in the advisory process. No registration & election fees.
Choice of filling & locking: After registration, applicants will need to log in with their JEE-Main 2018 roll number and password. Fill in the options as per your seating preference. Candidates should back up their decisions after filling in the election. If the student does not lock their decisions, then the last saved selection will be locked automatically.
Preliminary seat allocation: Candidates who are allocatted seat can download the “Provisional Seat Allotment letter” and e-challan. The e-challan for paying the seat acceptance fee.

Seat of acceptance: Candidates must pay Rs. 20,000 for Protection Categories and Rs. 45,000 for General Candidates as the seat of acceptance fee. The fee can be paid through SBI Bank Net Banking & e-challan. Candidates must provide a printout of the payment of the fee for further use.
Reporting to the assigned center: After paying the seat acceptance fee, students have to report to the assigned center for document review. Confirmation of the seat is given by the reporting center after the check.
Reporting on the assigned institutions: Once the seat is confirmed, students notify the institution about complete admission formalities. Students must arrive at college before the due date.
