What does hotel stand for

What is a superior hotel & what does it mean?

Would you like to know what a superior hotel is? With pleasure. I have put together everything you need to know below. Hotels are divided into different categories based on their number of stars. So 1 star corresponds more to a low level of comfort and 5 stars to a very high level of comfort. Depending on the country, the services that must be provided by the hotels vary in order to get into the respective category. Superior hotels fall between the star classifications.

Superior Hotels

If a hotel is classified as a 3 star hotel, for example, but fulfills almost all the services of a 4 star hotel, then it can be called a 3 star superior hotel. So the hotel actually has a 4 star standard, but does not meet all of the minimum requirements. The hotels are often also called 3.5 *, 3 * S or 3 * plus hotels. The names vary depending on the provider - but actually always a superior hotel in the respective category is meant.Superior Hotels are available in categories 1 - 4 *. A 5 * hotel can theoretically not come close to the standards of the 6 * category, because it does not give you 6 * category.

Example 3 * Superior Hotel (corresponds to 3.5 *)

The SuneoClub Globales Santa Ponsa is located in the town of the same name, Santa Ponsa on Mallorca, about 20 kilometers from Palma. It is 300 meters to the beach. Both the hotel and the beach are very suitable for families. For example, there is an animation program that promises fun for young and old, a children's playroom and a diverse entertainment program. Thanks to the gently sloping beach, children can play and swim here without hesitation.

The wellness hotel impresses with its modern design and offers a spacious spa area with saunas, whirlpool and cosmetic treatments. At the infinity pool you can enjoy the fantastic view over the bay from the romantic daybeds.
