5. Wasim Akram

International sensation Wasim Akram, the “King of Swing”, has great respect as the most famous Pakistani cricketer earned. Akram is considered to be the greatest fast bowler in cricket history, especially among ODIs. He also holds the world record for most wickets in List A cricket at 881. Akram was the first bowler to hit the 500 wicket benchmark in ODI cricket. And it happened during the 2003 ICC World Cup in South Africa.

He was named the best bowler of all time in the ODI in 2002. Akram was also recognized as the best captain on the Pakistan cricket team.
