Litera Valley School Patna

Litera Valley School (LVS) is a private coeducational school located in Patna, Bihar, India. 3,200 students are currently attending the school. The school was opened in 2007 by the founding director Sri Amit Prakash as the first of the Mount Litera school chain in India. Behind everything we do at Litera Valley School is the question: what is best for the child? We use this motto to make all our decisions.

School program

The LVS is a member of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Our teaching facilities range from kindergarten to 12th grade. Grades 5 through 10 receive instruction in general subjects such as English, math, and science.

Focus

The language of instruction at the LVS is English. We also offer other languages such as German, Sanskrit and Hindi. The school also has physics and chemistry laboratories, libraries, a natural grass field for cricket and a swimming pool. The pupils can learn different types of sport, dance forms and how to play musical instruments.

German lessons at the school

Since 2012, German as a foreign language has been taught at the school from the 6th grade. Around 1,000 pupils are currently learning the German language. Our learners also take part (often with outstanding results) in the international Fit in German exams, which are held regularly by the Goethe-Institut.

PASCH activities and international exchange

The Litera Valley School became part of the PASCH family in 2020. Before that, we also took part in numerous events and competitions organized by the Goethe-Institut, including local and international training camps, fit-best camps, theater performances and concerts. In 2017 we organized a German camp that was organized by the Goethe-Institut in cooperation with the German Language Center Patna. We also have a MINT partnership with the Realschule am Rennbuckel.

Extracurricular activities

Our school regularly takes part in the following activities: Organization of language course events, school band, karate lessons, picnics (from the 5th grade) and sporting activities such as cricket, football or table tennis. We are also involved in programs such as Jal Jivan Hariyali Drive, an initiative of the Bihar government for environmental protection and the fight against climate change.
